Psychoanalysis and Psychotherapy.
I am a certified psychoanalyst, a clinical social worker licensed in New York State and a fellow of the International Psychoanalytic Association (FIPA). I currently serve as Treasurer on the North American Psychoanalytic Confederation (NAPsaC) Board and have been in this office for five years. My affiliation and membership is with The American Psychoanalytic Association (APsaA). In addition, I am presently a member of the Spring Project Discussion Group, a group specializing in postpartum pathology.
Past professional work includes IPA Budget and Finance Committee Member (2015-2019), previous Treasurer and Board Member of the Confederation of Independent Psychoanalytic Societies (CIPS) (2008-2015), Clinical Center Administrator at the Institute for Psychoanalytic Training and Research (IPTAR) (2008-2011), IPTAR Associate Clinical Director (2009-2011) and IPTAR Clinical Center Supervisor (2002-2012).
My private office is located in New York City where I offer psychoanalysis, psychotherapy and consultation to individuals, couples, adolescents and seniors as well as supervision to colleagues. I have a special interest in trauma and its vicissitudes.
