Dr. Sarah Freke is a family doctor trained in psychoanalysis. She is a member of the Toronto Psychoanalytic Society, the International Psychoanalytic Association, and member and president of the Canadian Psychoanalytic Society. She is an approved supervisor of the Advanced Training in Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy Program of the Toronto Psychoanalytic Society and a member of the faculty of the Toronto Institute of Psychoanalysis. Her diverse private practice in downtown Toronto offers consultation, supervision and treatment in psychoanalysis and psychoanalytic psychotherapy. Dr Freke has a special interest in the importance of creative generativity in the analytic dyad allowed by the analyst’s waiting without knowing.
