I am an active member and represent the Psychoanalytic Center of California (PCC). From 2012 – the present, presently serving as PCC representative Confederation of Independent Psychoanalytic Societies (CIPS). I recently held the office of Vice-president; I represent PCC as alternate to the North American Psychoanalytic Confederation (NAPSaC); a member of North American Tavistock Observation Leaders (NATOL); Infant Observation committee and co-facilitator in the infant observation program. I served as Chair of the Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy Program (PPP) for 8 years and am an associate faculty member at PCC.
In 2016, I chaired the IPA Nominating Committee for North America and in 2017. I was appointed a west coast representative to The Committee on Women in Psychoanalysis (COWAP). Along with a steering committee of women psychoanalysts representing the 3 LA psychoanalytic institutes, she launched a weekend multi-disciplinary conference, COWAP LA 2018, Psychic Survival in the Face of Misogyny: The Dialectic between the Internal and External Glass Ceiling, bringing together community and psychoanalytic female and male representative voices from across the country and South America to address the timely subject.
I have had a private practice for over 40 years in West Hollywood and West Los Angeles, California, in psychoanalysis and psychoanalytic psychotherapy with adults, adolescents and couples.
